Job summary

Bright Horizons in Northampton is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud network solutions across Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments. You will ensure optimal network performance, reliability, security, and governance through automation and best practices.

The role requires 5+ years in network engineering with Azure networking and IaC experience using Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' network engineering experience, including Azure networking.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, routing, firewalls, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking services, including VNet, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and Firewalls.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Ansible), CI/CD tools, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).

Responsibilities

• Design and support Azure and multi-cloud network solutions.
• Manage network security, performance, and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud networking services.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams.
