Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with modern application architecture methodologies.
• 5+ years with Cloud Native design patterns (Azure / Google Cloud).
• 5+ years delivering digital solutions with a product mindset.
• 5+ years in a DevSecOps culture including CI/CD and TDD.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment.
• Hands-on software engineering with web technologies (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node/React).
• Experience with API-first integrations and authentication patterns.
• Strong communication across IT and external partners.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Software & Platform Solutions Development: Join a diverse engineering organization to contribute to growing capabilities across Software and Platform Engineering. Develop full-stack solutions (front-end, back-end, 3rd party SaaS integrations) for reliable digital products and measurable business growth.
• Product Build, Run & Modernization: Build and run activities for the products you work on, including event reporting and custom-engineered solutions, balancing quality, speed, and stability with new features.
• Collaboration & Backlog Management: Collaborate with team members, Platform Engineering, and other engineers to align with Elanco standards and support the Product Owner in backlog sizing and engineering approaches.
• Security & Continuous Improvement: Apply secure coding practices and embed security, privacy, data protection, and QA across digital solutions, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
• Innovation & Engineering Community: Explore opportunities to learn about innovation, participate in rotations, and engage with the Engineering community by sharing knowledge.
