Job summary

Synechron seeks a Senior Cloud-Native Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable enterprise applications. You will build Java/Spring Boot microservices, deploy on Kubernetes, and manage data stores across SQL and NoSQL databases while leveraging Kafka for event-driven architecture.

You will work across front-end tech (React/Angular/Vue) and CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, and observability stacks. Strong cloud and security practices are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed-system design.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Practical experience with Istio or another service mesh.
• Databases fundamentals and multiple DB types (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with Kafka and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• CI/CD, observability, incident response, and reliability mindset.
• Frontend familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js and AI tooling awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Build resilient distributed systems with caching, retries, and circuit breakers.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Operate workloads on Kubernetes, including deployments and autoscaling.
• Implement Istio for traffic mgmt, mTLS, and observability.
• Design relational and NoSQL data models and DB tuning.
• Build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Develop front-end apps with React/Angular/Vue.js.
• Create CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI and Infra as code with Terraform/Helm.
• Monitor and troubleshoot with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry; ensure security and DR.
