Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to design, secure, and operate AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate across Security, Platform, Engineering, and DevOps to advance secure software delivery and platform automation.

You will implement ASPM solutions (Apiiro or Legit Security), integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into pipelines, and drive security-conscious cloud engineering with Python-based tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and operating AWS infrastructure.
• Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience designing and implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps controls in GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of container security and secure image management.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and secure AWS infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Design secure AWS networking architectures and monitoring.
• Develop and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and integrate security controls.
• Implement ASPM solutions (Apiiro or Legit Security) and integrate security tooling into pipelines.
• Build platform automation tooling using Python and REST APIs.
• Design, deploy, and secure Kubernetes and EKS environments.
• Improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
