Post Office Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Developer to build, maintain and support internal applications within the Digital & Branch Engineering function. You will deliver new applications and services as trading platforms modernisation progresses, while collaborating with stakeholders to promote best practices and drive innovation.

You will work in a hybrid environment, reporting to the Lead Developer, and contribute to design, testing, release and ongoing support processes with a focus on

Formación

• Experience with full-stack software development principles and architectures.
• Experience building cloud-native microservices and distributed systems (AWS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data structures and databases (relational and non-relational).
• Good understanding of test-driven development and testing conventions.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain and support internal applications as part of the Digital & Branch Engineering function.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive Agile delivery.
• Write clean, maintainable code that is well-tested and observable.
• Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of applications across the lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation.
