Role: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Services Engineer

Location: Leeds/Hybrid, 2/3 days per week in the office

Salary: DOE, plus extensive benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Employment type: Full time

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (9:00-17:30)

What you'll be doing?

• Act as technical lead on IT Infrastructure projects
• Provide authoritative technical advice to the IT Operations team, management and stakeholders
• Ownership of technical issues across P2U infrastructure and EUC, proactively develop solutions to problems
• Develop strategic solutions to improve infrastructure and/or reduce IT costs
• Liaising with counterparts across the business, including partner organizations, suppliers, Local IT and other 3rd Parties
• Technical ownership of applications and systems including: Azure, O/M365 Products including security products, Intune, Firewalls, Switches and other infrastructure components.
• Lead on incident investigation
• Any other duties commensurate with the role

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum 5 years+ experience in a technical support role
• In depth experience of owning and operating Azure platforms
• Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions
• Experience working with security/logging tools such as Entra, Nessus, ELK, Kibana, LogRhythum, NewRelic, etc
• Strong understanding of networking (CCNA or equivalent highly desirable)
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments (particularly Azure)
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows, Linux and MacOS
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers (2016+)
• Strong knowledge of server virtualisation
• Strong knowledge of containerisation
• Proven track record in technical leadership
