About the role

The Museum’s Technology Solutions team is looking for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in the realisation of an ambitious digital strategy, providing technical support to our Digital Product teams serving a variety of public, internal and scientific audiences.

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative and supportive technical team working proactively to maintain and improve the Museum’s web infrastructure and drive modernisation initiatives as we peruse an ambitious programme of change. You will be the main point of contact for our Product teams on technical issues and will maintain an understanding of hosted applications and the product teams they relate to. This role will also manage a small number of third-party applications that form part of the Digital Product environment, including Adobe Experience Manager CMS, performing routine maintenance and upgrades. You will also support our scientific research teams by maintaining Linux based compute /storage devices and HPC job schedules
