Job summary

Perplexity is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own the roadmap for agent-driven cloud infrastructure management. You will design and operate Perplexity’s cloud networking fabric across regions to support low-latency AI workloads and enterprise deployments.

You will lead Kubernetes/EKS fleets, implement secure, multi-tenant and BYOC environments, and collaborate with security for BYOK/KMS integrations and compliance across global regions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS (VPC, routing, security groups, load balancing).
• Proven ability to manage multi-region/multi-account environments with Kubernetes.
• Experience with secure, isolated enterprise environments (BYOC, BYOK/KMS).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform) and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and technical strategy for agent-driven cloud infrastructure management.
• Design and operate cloud networking fabric (VPCs, private connectivity, peering).
• Architect and scale compute platforms (Kubernetes/EKS, autoscaling, mixed CPU/GPU fleets).
• Build isolated deployment topologies for multi-tenant, BYOC environments.
• Evolve multi-region strategies for availability, failover, and data locality.
