Job Opportunity: Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS to join a well-established global client. This role offers an outside IR35 opportunity and involves working on a major cloud migration project, replacing on-premise workflows with cloud solutions. This is a high-profile, ground-up initiative providing end-to-end visibility and rewarding challenges.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in AWS, with some background in broadcasting or media, and possess both hands-on engineering skills and architectural capabilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain audio broadcast cloud infrastructure in AWS, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and CI/CD automation.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture, optimize workflows, and ensure governance compliance.
3. Utilize AWS, containerization (e.g., Docker), and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible for performance and cost optimization.
4. Implement best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps, including observability, security, networking, API integration, and disaster recovery.
5. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership, preferably with experience in broadcast workflows, audio/video streaming, and Agile methodologies.

Key Requirements:

• Proven extensive experience with AWS Cloud; knowledge of Azure and GCP is a plus.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, etc.) and tooling such as GitLab.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Golang, Python, or Bash.
• Background in Broadcasting, Media, Radio, or Video is essential.
