WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a member of the Global Technical Operations (TechOps), you will be part of a team focused on operational reliability within a cloud-based infrastructure. You have hands-on cloud experience in architecting, building, deploying, managing databases, compute instances, and storage buckets. You are passionate about providing solutions through automation and believe that success is achieved through collaboration and communication.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Work in cross-functional teams to develop solutions and identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Research, evaluate, and incorporate new technologies and concepts into existing frameworks.
3. Proactively identify areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and implement solutions.
4. Develop and innovate operational practices, procedures, workflows, and documentation.
5. Implement and contribute to IT security best practices.
6. Automate tasks to ensure consistency and speed of deployment.
7. Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues, working towards resolution.
8. Explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
9. Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.
10. Participate in on-call rotation.
11. Work with limited requirements and adapt to changing priorities.
12. Switch contexts between assignments, projects, and daily tasks.
13. Act as a liaison between TechOps and other groups.
14. Take on new responsibilities as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

1. Recent hands-on experience (7+ years) as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or SRE in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
2. Proven experience automating tasks within cloud environments using infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt).
3. Experience with configuration management tools (preferably Ansible).
4. Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Helm).
5. Strong understanding of networking and security concepts.
6. Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Stackdriver).
7. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, Bash).
8. Excellent presentation and documentation skills.
9. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
10. Effective time and project management skills.

BONUS POINTS

1. Experience with databases (Snowflake, MariaDB, Galera, MySQL).
2. Knowledge of infrastructure and application security.
3. Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
4. Experience working within Agile development environments.
5. Familiarity with AI/ML platforms (Datarobot, Vertex AI).
