Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead client engagements across data strategy, governance and cloud platforms. You will design scalable architectures, guide delivery teams and ensure outcomes align with business goals.

You will mentor colleagues, support pre-sales activities and stay ahead of technologies such as Azure, AWS, Databricks and modern data warehouses, delivering value from discovery to production.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyse complex business challenges and design effective data architectures and solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience guiding project teams, mentoring colleagues and developing capability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Interpersonal skills with ability to build trusted client relationships and act as a respected advisor.

• Deliver high-quality consultancy to clients across the full data lifecycle.
• Shape and assure solutions spanning data strategy, governance, operating models, cloud platforms and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop tailored data solutions.
• Design architectures aligned with client objectives, industry standards and best practice.
• Lead delivery by organising project teams, allocating resources and tracking progress.
