Job summary

Allwyn UK is seeking a senior automation engineer to own design, deployment, and management of our automation and monitoring platforms across multiple environments. You will establish security and cost controls, build dashboards, and automate new system integrations using Control-M and GitHub Actions.

You will collaborate with Tech Lead, Delivery Manager and product teams to refine backlogs, maintain high quality, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, hybrid-Office in Watford

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in AWS, Terraform, Ansible and GitHub Actions, along with strong Python programming skills and experience in CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot at a low level, standardise solutions and implement best practices across platforms and technologies.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, deployment, and management of automation and monitoring platforms to support applications and services.
• Establish and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and cost management.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting infrastructure and configurations.
• Develop dashboards to visualise key information for business stakeholders.
• Configure automation for new integrations using existing frameworks and manage job configurations with Control-M.
• Develop new automated processes using programming skills and modern tooling.
• Maintain understanding of Allwyn infrastructure and gaming platforms for capacity planning and troubleshooting.
• Build GitHub Actions automations to deploy code to test and production environments.
• Work with Tech Lead and Delivery Manager to break down Epics and stories and monitor progress.
• Ensure work quality and keep the backlog refined with product owners and delivery managers.
