SR2 London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid) is seeking a hands-on Cloud Architect to own the infrastructure powering a confidential AI platform for investment firms. You will lead AWS architecture and Kubernetes/EKS, building and refining infrastructure with Terraform, Helm and automation.

The role requires strong production experience with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform and Helm; you will improve CI/CD, monitoring and platform reliability, guide engineers, and work with security specialists.

Shape the cloud infrastructure behind an AI platform for investment firms.

SR2 is partnering with an AI business to hire a hands-on Cloud Architect. You'll be joining a senior engineering team and take ownership of the infrastructure powering confidential financial workflows.

What you\'ll do

• Own AWS architecture, Kubernetes/EKS whilst building consistent infrastructure with Terraform, Helm and automation.
• Design secure client isolation across infrastructure, identity and data.
• Control cloud and AI costs, including model-provider usage.
• Improve CI/CD, monitoring and platform reliability.
• Guide engineers on architecture and partner with security specialists.

What you\'ll bring

• Primary background in infrastructure with substantial architecture ownership.
• Strong production experience with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform and Helm.
• Evidence of improving reliability, managing costs and making sound architectural decisions.
• Regular use of AI coding tools, with a tactful approach to reviewing their output.
