The Cloud Architect within our IT architecture team plays a crucial role in guiding our organization's cloud computing strategy.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of cloud services, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure. The candidate will lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, aligned with company goals and technical requirements, and establishing guidelines for reuse.
2. Managing cloud adoption plans, application design patterns, standards, and monitoring strategies.
3. Developing and supporting DevSecOps best practices, including agile management, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, observability, and continuous feedback.
4. Collaborating with IT security to ensure cloud deployments meet security standards and compliance requirements.
5. Optimizing cloud spending and resource utilization through cost-effective scaling.
6. Staying updated on new Azure services and cloud technologies, assessing their potential benefits for the organization.
7. Providing expertise and leadership in cloud architecture discussions and decisions.
