A leading company in the travel industry is seeking a Senior CRM Marketing Executive to enhance customer engagement through strategic campaign management. You will be responsible for developing creative content and managing projects to optimize customer journeys, driving bookings and retention. This role offers a collaborative work environment with opportunities to utilize new marketing technologies.
Senior CRM Marketing Executive – Holidays/Travel
Location: Hemel Hempstead – 2-3 times a week
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits
The CRM team is set up into two halves, one side owns the CRM calendar, and is responsible for copy creation, content, and the project management side of campaigns. The other is operational CRM, and the more technical side of building, testing and optimising journeys.
The part you’ll be joining is the former. So will be responsible for the copy, content and project management side of getting campaigns up together, journey building and looking at campaign opportunities to drive CRM outcomes – i.e. looking to drive increased customer value, retention, engagement, etc.
The emphasis of your CRM activity will be aligned to driving consideration through to purchase of holidays. So will include things like basket abandon, re-engagement, promotional CRM campaigns, etc. Looking to drive customer bookings and conversions through the website or app.
Principal channel for engagement will be email first, with involvement of push and in-app too as the company looks to broaden its channel mix.
You’ll be creating these new journeys, pulling together campaigns from ideas to content, creative, test and learn as well as optimisation; through to campaign execution. So effectively the project management side of the campaigns themselves.
Organising what’s needed to get campaigns up and out the door, working in partnership with CRM ops teams on journey builds. Data teams on data strategy, segmentation and targeting. Creative and design teams on deciding, testing and refining what’s going into each campaign. So they ultimately achieve each objective.
The business itself has been around a long time and has a very strong family centric ethos, which also translates to their approach to work/life balance.
The team are currently working through a programme of refreshing their customer journeys and associated CRM triggers and comms following the introduction of a range of new martech to the business which includes tools like Movable Ink.
Aiming to improve personalisation, relevancy and effectiveness of their campaigns. Which means you’re likely to get the opportunity to gain experience to CRM strategy projects, as the team collaborates to deliver this implementation.
Experience Necessary
