We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Nursing Assistant to join the Research and Innovation Directorate at
University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for those working in a care setting to further develop skills within
research to support and coordinate a wide range of clinical studies. This will contribute to improving and changing the future care of patients.
This key role requires the individual to have excellent communication skills at all levels; are confident working in partnerships and on their own,
developing relationships and working as part of a team within the research environment. The successful candidate will need to have a positiveattitude and to help develop an effective research culture within UHNM.
We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing quality care, highly motivated to learn and develop further and wants to be part of
dedicated team with a strong patient focus. The role consists of screening clinics for eligible participants, recruitment, consent, assessment, data
collection, follow-ups, preparation, storage of samples and other clinical duties as required. The role requires responsibility for ensuring that
clinical trials are run in accordance with ICH-GCP and other regulatory standards.
This post is part time 22.5 hours and the working days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
