University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust in the United Kingdom seeks a Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker to support Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, holistic, person-centred care.
The role requires flexibility to cover variable shifts over seven days and adherence to UHNM policies. Applicants should hold Numeracy/Literacy Level 1 and complete Care Certificate; IELTS/OETS are accepted for overseas applicants.
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
In relation to Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker roles, we are currently able to recruit successfully from the domestic labour market and have a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and appointable candidates. As a result, visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. This position is kept under regular review and may change in the future should labour market conditions or service requirements alter.
Important information for applicants: To ensure clarity of accountability, scope of practice and professional responsibilities, the Trust does not normally appoint individuals holding active NMC or HCPC registration into Band 2 Clinical/AHP Support Worker, Band 3 Senior Clinical/AHP Support Worker or Band 4 AHP Support Worker/Technician roles. Registered nurses and Allied Health Professionals interested in joining UHNM are encouraged to explore our registered professional opportunities, which are advertised regularly across the Trust.
Pre-interview test
At the start of your interview time slot, you will be required to sit the UHNM Maths & English test (Total of 6 questions) and need to gain 6/6 to proceed to the formal interview.
