Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust in Leeds is seeking a Senior Clinical Support Worker (Nursing) to support ward leadership and deliver compassionate patient care under LTHT guidelines.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate shift teams, and ensure safeguarding policies are followed, with responsibilities across wards as needed. The role is full-time, on-site, with salary according to NHS scales and application shortlisting/interview dates.

Qualifications

• Communicate with patients and carers to ensure they have access to appropriate information.
• Lead and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards of nursing care.
• Uphold LTHT safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe ward environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of clinical support workers on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Deliver compassionate patient-focused care in accordance with LTHT guidelines, policies, values and behaviours.
• Undertake duties on other wards or departments as required by service demands or patient need.
• Ensure documentation standards are upheld, whether written or computerised.
• Promote positive relationships between staff involved in patient care.
