London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to lead initiatives and advance our clinical pharmacy services within the trust. Working under the lead pharmacist, the successful candidate will contribute to improving patient care and professional growth.

Formación

• Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
• Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent.
• Relevant hospital experience.
• Wide range of ward pharmacy experience.
• Training, mentorship, supervision of staff.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage workload.
• Evidence of time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, deliver, develop and evaluate general clinical pharmacy services in line with objectives and priorities.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a highly specialist service on acute wards.
• Provide a consistently high pharmaceutical service for patients across acute hospital areas.
• Collaborate with the department and wider teams to ensure optimal medicines usage and value for money.
• Develop procedures, policies and guidelines and participate in clinical audit.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ward-based education and training of junior doctors, pharmacists and nursing staff.
• Provide daily ward visits to acute wards and input guidelines and MDT ward rounds.
• Provide regular support to the dispensary.
