A leading NHS healthcare provider in Ipswich is looking for a Senior Clinical Scientist in Radiotherapy. ESNEFT is one of the largest radiotherapy providers in the East of England, delivering treatments to over 3000 patients per year across Ipswich and Colchester sites. Ipswich Hospital are looking for a Senior Clinical Scientist in Radiotherapy.
You will hold registration as an MPE in radiotherapy as well as participate in a broad range of radiotherapy physics activities including quality assurance of radiotherapy treatment equipment, treatment planning, and providing assistance with computing throughout the department. You will work closely with colleagues within our multi-disciplinary team of physicists, engineers, radiographers and clinicians.
Ipswich Hospital is equipped with 3 TrueBeam multi-modality linear accelerators routinely delivering VMAT, FFF and SABR techniques, and an Ethos linear accelerator with Hypersight imaging. The department has a virtual Aria environment utilising the Varian cloud solution, and treatment plans are produced using the Eclipse treatment planning system. We have a Phillips Big Bore CT scanner with TumorLoc virtual simulation system and AI volume delineation and dedicated MR scanning slots for radiotherapy. We work closely with nuclear medicine to deliver a molecular radiotherapy service.
