We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated person to join our friendly team of staff. As a Healthcare scientist, you will play a key role in helping to deliver and develop our comprehensive clinical immunology service.

The post holder will:

  1. Provide complex clinical/scientific reports, advice, opinions, and judgements for a range of highly specialised Immunology investigations and services to local, national, and international service users.
  2. Contribute to the leadership of a team of clinical scientists and Biomedical Scientists and be responsible for the clinical, scientific, quality, and managerial aspects of the work and staff within the team.
  3. Exercise considerable autonomy for their own work and that of the team, employing all the competencies of a State Registered Clinical Scientist.
  4. Contribute to the management of the department through active involvement in departmental committees and working groups, and gain experience through participation in national and professional groups.

The Department of Immunology at Oxford University Hospitals Trust is looking for an HCPC registered Healthcare Scientist with experience in an NHS diagnostic laboratory, preferably in Immunology. The applicant must have already completed the Royal College of Pathologists FRCPath Part exam and be actively working towards Part.
