Job Description:

We are seeking

a clinician with a substantial record of achievement in the clinical application of liquid biopsy technologies relevant to cancer. You will have a track record of leading research and of delivering multidisciplinary international translational research in this field. You will work within and complement the already extensive programme of basic and translational cancer research in Oxford and develop new collaborations within the city and across the world.

About you

You will be a clinician at NHS consultant level or hold equivalent qualification and experience. You will hold evidence of distinction in cancer liquid biopsy research through the quality of your publications and national and international esteem indicators. You will possess a strong track record of gaining substantial external income for basic and/or translational cancer research from national competitive funding bodies, industry, and other partners. You will have a substantial track record in developing, executing, and reporting large-scale clinical trials of cancer diagnostics and/or therapeutics.
