A leading cancer care provider in Greater London is seeking a Band 7 Senior Research Nurse to manage clinical trials and support lung cancer patients. The ideal candidate will have essential clinical research experience and a flexible approach to work in a multidisciplinary team. This position offers opportunities to develop clinical and research skills and contribute significantly to patient care.
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Senior Research Nurse post within the Lerner Lung & Mesothelioma Research Unit (Cross site). We are a highly regarded busy multidisciplinary team performing both clinical and research work. They will manage their own caseload of patients on clinical trials with the support of the wider research and clinical team. It is essential to have previous clinical research experience and/or Lung cancer experience. The successful applicant should have a flexible approach to their duties and the ability to work both as part of the team as well as independently. In addition, excellent communication, administrative and IT skills and being supportive and open to new initiatives are particularly valued by the team. Such diversity requires a dedicated team combining different backgrounds and expertise to provide not only high-quality data and patient care, but also continued input into screening and identifying suitable cancer patients. This post will provide continued support and care for patients who by the nature of their disease require close monitoring and continuity of care.
