Job summary

A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join its Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge and Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. The successful candidate will provide specialist psychological support and management for patients with neurological conditions. Required qualifications include doctoral training in clinical psychology and current HCPC registration. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as well as experience in neurorehabilitation. The role involves both clinical practice and supervision of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Post-doctoral training in specialized areas of psychological practice is desirable.
• Experience of working in a community Neuro Rehabilitation service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychology for the service using evidence-based practice.
• Deliver specialist psychological programmes to support patients.
• Supervise junior staff and students.

Skills

Experience with adults with neurological conditions

Education
