This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Psychologist to join EPUT's perinatal psychological services for mothers, birthing people, and their infants. The Perinatal Mental Health Service (PMHS) provides high-quality maternal mental health and wellbeing support and intervention across Essex.
PMHS offers an 18-month Fixed Term contract for a 0.6wte 8a Senior Clinical Psychologist position. The service comprises five perinatal hubs across Essex, with staff including Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology, and specialist roles such as nursery nursing, social work, and OT. It collaborates with maternity, health visiting, and mental health services to support emotional wellbeing, aiming to deliver streamlined, timely, and effective care. The role is based in South East Locality (Southend, Castlepoint & Rochford), with options for part-time and flexible working.

The role offers significant opportunities to enhance supervision, teaching, and consultation skills, and to further develop the psychology service to meet the needs of mothers, birthing people, and infants. Staff wellbeing is a priority, and experience in wellbeing initiatives to support staff managing complex caseloads and safeguarding issues is desirable.
