Hours: 30 hours per week

Are you an experienced Band 7 or 8a Clinical Psychologist looking for a new challenge? The post is based with a neuropsychology team at York Hospital, with some clinical time at Scarborough Hospital. Travel is required, and hybrid working is available.

You will join a well-established Psychological Medicine department, including Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists, and others. There is potential to work across other services in psychological medicine.

  • Post-graduate doctoral training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, psychometrics, and accredited therapies, with HCPC registration.
  • Experience in psychological assessment and treatment of medically ill patients.
  • Ability to handle highly emotive and distressing situations professionally.
  • Skills in complex psychological assessment, intervention, and management.
  • Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Consultation skills for professional and non-professional groups.
