Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts is seeking a senior clinical pharmacist to join the Emergency and Acute Care (EAC) team at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. The post focuses on acute medicine, SDEC, and MDT collaboration, with opportunities for independent prescribing training and leadership development.

You will contribute to governance, education, and medication safety, participate in quality improvement, and support 7-day service delivery within a large, dynamic clinical pharmacy

Qualifications

• Essential Registered with GPhC.
• Essential Post-graduate diploma/MSc in clinical pharmacy or working towards this.
• Essential B.Pharm/BSc (Pharmacy) or MPharm.
• Desirable Independent prescriber.
• Desirable Related postgraduate qualifications.
• Essential Broad knowledge base of clinical areas.
• Essential Experience supervising and training trainee pharmacists/technicians.
• Essential Hospital-based clinical pharmacy service experience.
• Essential Wide post-registration clinical pharmacy experience.
• Desirable Audit/research experience at Trust level.
• Desirable Teaching skills.
