We’re delighted to invite applications to join the team ofsenior clinical pharmacists in Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) at the Queens Medical Centre. The post holder will primarily work on the acute medicine unit and be part of the core same day emergency care (SDEC) multidisciplinary team but will also work in other areas within UEC which include ED, level 1 care area and acute medicine receiving area.
The acute admissions unit is one of the largest in the country, so we’ve created a large clinical pharmacy team to deliver an excellent 7 day service.
The post offers an outstanding opportunity to develop your portfolio of clinical knowledge and skills for the management of patients as part of the friendly, progressive and dynamic multidisciplinary team, as well as build on your leadership abilities.
If not already obtained then the post holder may be supported through the independent prescribing course.
