The post holder is responsible for providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy service that meets the needs of patients and healthcare professionals within and associated with the Trust. The role involves delivering a highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to the Emergency Department (ED), working alongside senior staff to develop and implement medicine management systems related to the admissions process. The post also includes clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and teaching nursing and medical staff. The post holder is professionally accountable for any pharmacy functions they oversee.
