The team handles complex matters for individuals and families, requiring strong drafting and advocacy skills, and a proactive, client-focused approach. Hybrid working and clear progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience handling clinical negligence claims.
• Strong knowledge of clinical negligence law and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Experience dealing with high-value matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and advocacy skills.
• Experience working with medical experts and Counsel.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload with autonomy.
• Proactive, commercial approach to business development.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers.
• Collaborative team player.

Aufgaben

• Manage a complex and varied clinical negligence caseload.
• Advise clients and families on prospects, strategy and outcomes.
• Handle high-value, technically challenging claims.
• Review medical records and expert evidence.
• Draft pleadings, statements, schedules of loss, and legal docs.
• Instruct and work with Counsel and experts.
• Prepare for hearings, settlements and conferences.
• Develop case strategy and negotiate settlements.
• Build strong client relationships and maintain trust.
• Mentor junior team members and support training.
