Job summary

Cape Clarke is seeking a Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor to handle claimant clinical negligence work in Manchester. This hybrid role offers a salary up to £75,000, depending on experience, and requires 3+ PQE.

Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Claimant | Manchester | Hybrid | Up to £75,000

Take responsibility for claimant clinical negligence work in Manchester. This hybrid opportunity is aimed at solicitors with 3+ PQE and offers a salary of up to £75,000, depending on experience.

You will manage clinical negligence claims from investigation through to settlement or trial preparation. The work calls for careful analysis of medical evidence, liability and causation, alongside a clear approach to valuation, funding, costs and litigation risk. You will work with experts and counsel and guide clients through decisions that can have a lasting effect on their lives.

You should have experience running your own claimant clinical negligence files and the judgement to identify when specialist input is needed. Strong drafting, case planning and client communication are essential. The level and complexity of the caseload will reflect your background; PQE is a guide to the experience sought.

The position is based in Manchester with hybrid working and a salary of up to £75,000. It offers scope to use and develop your technical experience within claimant medical negligence litigation.
