Job summary

Qualifications

  • Full GMC Registration and License to Practice
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Permission to work in the UK
Desirable criteria
  • FRCS Trauma & Ortho
Experience and Skills
Essential criteria
  • Wide range of experience in orthopaedics
  • At least four years middle grade Orthopaedic experience
  • Valid ATLS certificate
  • Evidence of suitable logbook experience in Upper and Lower Limb Trauma
Research and Audit
Essential criteria
  • Ability to demonstrate an appreciation and understanding of research methodology
  • Evidence of involvement in research and/or publications
  • Basic skills in clinical audit
  • Appreciation of benefits of clinical audit in improving clinical practice and the development of clinical guidelines
  • Experience and interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
Desirable criteria
  • One peer-reviewed Trauma publication
  • National or International Trauma presentations
