Job summary

A National Health Service organization in Tooting is looking for a Senior Clinical Fellow specializing in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery focusing on facial deformity. The candidate must be double qualified in Medicine and Dentistry and provide services in line with subspecialty themes. Responsibilities include managing outpatient clinics and operating lists, and participating in MDT meetings. Competitive salary and opportunities to attend private clinics are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Senior Clinical Fellow (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery-Facial Deformity)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a senior clinic fellow in Maxillofacial Surgery with an interest in facial deformity and TMJ surgery. They are required to work within the regional South-West London Maxillofacial Surgery Network centred around the department at St George's Hospital.

Main duties of the job

There will also be opportunities in the timetable for the fellow to attend private hospital clinics and operating lists.

About us

The unit forms the hub of a network of spokes comprising Ashford & St Peter's, Epsom & St Helier, Kingston and Croydon University Hospitals. The fellows are expected to provide a service in line with the subspecialty themes of the fellowships. This includes outpatient clinics, outpatient and inpatient operating lists, MDT meetings, as well as on call commitment. The on call is one in 1:5, covering the middle grade tier.

  • Comprehensive experience in the management of facial trauma, dento-alveolar pathology, oral medicine and generic in-patient management skills
  • Head and neck surgical oncology, surgical Dermatology.
