Join a leading NHS trust as a qualified doctor in our Vascular Team. The role involves supporting specialized vascular services, operating theatre activities, and participating in an on-call rota. We wish to appoint a suitably experienced and motivated candidate to join our Vascular Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the support of vascular services at RWT including vascular outpatients and day case theatres, with good exposure to renal access and endovenous procedures. A whole day per week is allocated to major vascular operating at Russells Hall to gain exposure to the full range of major vascular procedures (including AAA, carotid and lower limb revascularisation).
Emergency vascular experience is provided through a 1:8 out of hours vascular middle grade rota and a 1:8 emergency daytime cover at Russells Hall.

Emergency vascular experience is provided through a 1:8 out of hours vascular middle grade rota and a 1:8 emergency daytime cover at Russells Hall.
A major role is to support the Consultants and Vascular Nurse Specialists with timely vascular reviews of inpatient referrals admitted under other specialities including liaising with the Hub if transfer to the Hub is required.
Once sufficient clinical experience has been obtained there may be the opportunity of performing more independent outpatient and day case theatre activities under indirect supervision.
