Based at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, NP20 2UB, South East Wales
On calls include cover for the Grange University Hospital, Llanfrechfa, NP44 8YN, South East Wales

Main duties of the job
Previous experience in Urology is essential, minimum 6 months.
MRCS is essential.
GMC registration with licence to practice is essential.
The Department of Urology at the Royal Gwent Hospital is staffed by 10 Consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 4 Specialist Registrars (trainees), 2 Senior Clinical Fellows (including this post), 3 Junior Clinical Fellows, 1 IST trainee and 3 FP2 trainees. In addition, specialist nurses provide part of our key services. We provide services within all subsections of urology, and we link into tertiary centres for more advanced reconstruction and andrology.
Although this post does not have recognised educational approval, some funding for training courses can be discussed. The post will have the same supervision, study leave and annual leave as that of a recognised training post.
