Job description

Senior Clinical Fellow in Transplant and Renal Surgery

The post will be comparable to current ST3-ST8 posts with respect to responsibilities, audit and opportunities for training. This will be adapted to your training level. Your rota will involve: 1) On-calls (managing the wards, emergency theatre and deceased donor transplants) alongside the on-call Consultant. 2) Elective Operating lists - this could be living donor transplants (Lap or Robot assisted), dialysis access surgery, transplant urology procedures or hernia/abdominal wall repairs 3) Clinics - this could be surgical assessment, post transplant follow up or pre-op assessment clinics You will be encouraged to carry out audit and quality improvement projects as well as to join and deliver teaching sessions.
