Job Overview

This position is for a Senior Clinical Fellow - ST4(+) level - in Simulation and Emergency Medicine at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Emergency Medicine Services at Preston and Chorley are unified under a single Directorate. The successful candidate will work on both sites.

This is a fixed-term 12-month full-time post, with a split of 60:40 between clinical duties and simulation activities. Part-time applications will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand the in-situ simulation programme in the Emergency Department.
  • Deliver the trust-wide multidisciplinary trauma training simulations.
  • Become core faculty on regional Emergency Medicine Simulation Courses.
  • Develop skills as a debriefer and simulationist.
Experience and Exposure

The role offers experience across multiple hospital settings, including Major Trauma Centre, tertiary specialties, District General Hospital, and exposure to a variety of Emergency Medicine presentations.
