Job description

Senior Clinical Fellow in Radiology - Harefield Hospital

Assisting in the running of the radiology service under the direction of the Clinical Lead for Radiology. To maintain a high standard of patient care at all times. To liaise with the Imaging Superintendents regarding clinical service issues. To ensure appropriate infection control measures are utilised, with particular attention to personal protection, equipment, and linens. To observe safety regulations, including Local Rules and the Health and Safety at Work Act. To communicate effectively with staff, providing support and advice where necessary. To train radiographers, technologists, and other doctors. The post holder will maintain good working relationships within the multidisciplinary team. To liaise with other hospital departments and external sources to provide quality service to patients and clinicians. To communicate empathetically with patients and their escorts, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and assessing communication needs. To report equipment failures to the Imaging Superintendents. To abide by the Trust's core behaviours and policies, including confidentiality, research governance, and health and safety. To participate in ongoing staff development and attend departmental meetings.
