A healthcare organization in London seeks a Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The appointee will engage in a full shift rota, attend specialist clinics, and gain skills in areas like antenatal practice and fertility. Candidates must hold an MBBS or equivalent and GMC registration, with a commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork. This position offers rich training and development opportunities in the NHS.
The appointee will be expected to participate fully in the department with opportunity to attend specialist clinics and gain additional skills. These opportunities include:
Advanced Antenatal Practice including growth scans and obstetric scanning.
Colposcopy
Vulval Disease
Urogynaecology
Fertility
Hysteroscopy
Early Pregnancy Care and Gynaecological Ultrasound
Medical Education
Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement
The successful candidate will participate in the 1:8 full shift rota providing cover for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a three-tier system. The night on-call team comprises an SHO , two registrars and a Consultant. The consultant is resident from 0800 - 2200 to support high-quality care and outstanding training opportunities.
