Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Job description

The appointee will be expected to participate fully in the department with opportunities to attend specialist clinics and gain additional skills. These opportunities include participating in a 1:8 full shift rota providing cover for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a three-tier system. The night on-call team comprises an SHO, two registrars, and a Consultant. The consultant is resident from 0800 to 2200 to support high-quality care and outstanding training opportunities.

1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from Black, Asian, and ethnic minority backgrounds, identify as LGBTQ+, and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development.
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability.
3. Improving the experience of staff with disabilities.
4. Enhancing the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development.
5. Making equalities mainstream.
