An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time fixed-term role in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. One full time post – fixed term to cover deanery vacancy - potential option to extend at the end.
The post holder is expected to work across both Poole and Bournemouth in providing resilience to the existing middle grade rota. The daytime work will cover elective and emergency duties. There is a huge opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology including Gynaecology operating, Early pregnancy/ Gynaecology ultrasound, high-risk antenatal clinics including Maternal and Fetal Medicine. The post is suitable for candidates looking to gain additional experience in all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology and would suit someone working at junior registrar level.
The post holder will participate in a 1:9 resident on-call shift pattern for 12 hours, 10 blocks of a week of nights on call and twilight shifts and weekend day time working as part of the on call, allowing time for handover and with prospective cover. The out of hours on call is moving to Bournemouth 31st March 2025.

Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.
