An opportunity has arisen to work in one of the largest Women’s Health Services in Scotland. NHS Lanarkshire is seeking to recruit a dynamic Senior Clinical Fellow to join our award-winning Obstetrics and Gynaecology team. We are conveniently located in central Scotland with access to Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Highlands, and the Borders.

The post is available from 6th August, 2025 until 5th August, 2026. Candidates should have completed at least 3 years of obstetrics and gynaecology training and have equivalent clinical experience of ST3.

As the post includes a 50% teaching and educational component, applicants should have a strong interest in Medical Education and experience in providing medical teaching, especially in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

These posts are based at University Hospital Wishaw, which provides inpatient obstetric and gynaecological care for Lanarkshire. Outpatient and day care services are also provided at University Hospitals Hairmyres and Monklands, with antenatal care available at various community health centers. The maternity unit handles approximately 4,300 deliveries annually. Successful applicants will join the middle-grade rota.
