A leading healthcare provider in London seeks a Senior Clinical Fellow in Interventional to perform advanced interventional cardiology procedures and manage cardiac patients. The ideal candidate is a fully qualified cardiologist with substantial interventional cardiology experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to clinical excellence and research. This position offers opportunities for teaching and involvement in clinical research.
Key Responsibilities: Perform a broad range of advanced interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angioplasty, structural heart interventions, and device implantations. Manage acute and elective cardiac patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including cardiac surgeons, imaging specialists, and allied health professionals. Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Engage in clinical research projects and contribute to academic publications. Provide teaching and supervision for junior medical staff and trainees. Ideal Candidate: Fully qualified cardiologist with completion or near completion of core cardiology training. Substantial experience in interventional cardiology, including exposure to complex procedures. Strong commitment to clinical excellence, research, and education. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Eligibility to work in the UK and full GMC registration.
