Applicants should possess FRCR or equivalent.

The post will run for a fixed term of 12 months.

Background:

A fixed term contract post is available for a Trust Grade Fellow in Trauma Imaging at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

The applicant should be able to start in August 2025.

This post is due to increased imaging demands from the Major Trauma Centre at St Mary’s Hospital.

The department operates across 3 sites in West London (Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, and St. Mary’s Hospital) offering broad exposure to Trauma Imaging and general radiology, including tertiary cases.

• Dr Neil Rane (Interventional Neuroradiologist, Trauma Radiology Co-Lead)
• Dr Elizabeth Dick (Trauma/MSK Radiologist)
• Dr Sangoh Lee (MSK Head of Service)
• Dr Christopher Lord (MSK Training Lead)

Main duties of the job:

• Trauma radiology reporting across all imaging modalities
• Participation in the trauma MDT
• On-call work as part of the senior fellow rota (~1:6), supporting junior radiology registrars in services including hyperacute stroke, neurosurgery, vascular imaging, Level 1 major trauma, and general radiology
• Involvement in quality improvement and governance projects
• Research opportunities in advanced clinical radiology areas
