Senior Clinical Fellow in General Medicine

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Clinical Fellow in General Medicine at Swansea Bay University Health Board. These are 12-month posts from 6th August 2025 to 4th August 2026.

The posts will be based at Singleton or Morriston Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The department of Medicine at Swansea Bay UHB is recruiting multiple Senior Clinical Fellows with training in the following sub-specialties:

  • Cardiology
  • Respiratory Medicine
  • Diabetes and Endocrinology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Acute Medicine
  • Care of the Elderly
  • Stroke Medicine
  • Renal
  • Haematology
  • Palliative Care
  • Rheumatology
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Neurology

These are fixed-term posts for 12 months due to funding. You will participate in general medical on-call duties on the appropriate rota at Singleton or Morriston Hospital. Further details can be provided at interview or upon request. You will be required to work a full shift pattern with prospective cover.
