Sheffield Teaching Hospitals is seeking to appoint two Senior Clinical Fellows in General Medicine (IMT3/ST3+ equivalent) beginning August 2025 for a 12 month fixed term contract until end of July 2026. The post does not attract a National Training Number. As this post is not recognised as a ‘training post’, full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise is required, and if the appointee does not hold right of residence in the UK sponsorship will be required.
The duties of these posts are equivalent to IMT3/ST3+ level. S uccessful completion of MRCP and 12 months experience at IMT2/equivalent is essential.

The ST3-level clinical duties will include in-patient duties as part of a team managing patients admitted under general medicine consultants. This will include providing support to junior colleagues. There will be the opportunity to attend out-patient clinics. Depending on interest successful candidates may have the opportunity to be involved with specialist referrals.
