Job summary
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals is seeking to appoint two Senior Clinical Fellows in General Medicine (IMT3/ST3+ equivalent) beginning August 2025 for a 12-month fixed-term contract until the end of July 2026. The posts do not attract a National Training Number. As these posts are not recognized as 'training posts', full GMC registration with a licence to practise is required. If the appointee does not hold right of residence in the UK, sponsorship will be necessary.
The duties of these posts are equivalent to IMT3/ST3+ level. Successful completion of MRCP and 12 months of experience at IMT2/equivalent is essential.

The ST3-level clinical duties include inpatient responsibilities as part of a team managing patients admitted under general medicine consultants. Support to junior colleagues will be provided. There will be opportunities to attend outpatient clinics and, depending on interest, to be involved with specialist referrals.
