Are you a Physiotherapist passionate about Rheumatology seeking the next step in your career? Join our dedicated Rheumatology team at University Hospital Bristol and Weston as a Band 7 Team Lead Rheumatology Physiotherapist.

Our team comprises senior physiotherapists and occupational therapists working collaboratively across Bristol and Weston hospital sites. Learn more about our Rheumatology services: Rheumatology Services

You will share team lead responsibilities with the B7 occupational therapist, managing a diverse and complex caseload of patients with rheumatological conditions. You will build relationships with multidisciplinary teams and develop your professional career through various benefits and opportunities, including:

  • Providing evidence-based care for patients with rheumatology issues
  • Leading specialist clinics alongside consultants
  • Participating in research and service development
  • Regular team meetings, wellbeing sessions, and training opportunities

Knowledge and Experience
  • Significant experience treating musculoskeletal/rheumatological conditions as a Band 6 therapist
  • Experience in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching
  • People management experience, including supervising undergraduates
Qualifications and Training
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate training in musculoskeletal/rheumatology
  • Experience across core physiotherapy areas (musculoskeletal, neurology, respiratory, trauma, orthopaedics)
