The holder of the post will be accountable to the Consultant Physician and Hospital Director within General Medicine.
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months from 6th August 2025 (with the possibility of extension). You will join colleagues in a dynamic and forward-looking General Medicine/Diabetes and Endocrinology service. You will be part of the medical on-call team and supported to develop a specialist interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
This role is ideal for those entering a specialty training program, those working towards CESR (with support to complete it), or those choosing a non-training post.
You will participate in D&E ward rounds and outpatient clinics, with support to develop skills in D&E techniques. You will be encouraged to develop a portfolio reflecting your skills, and to undertake quality improvement projects and audits. Teaching organization and support will also be encouraged.
