A leading NHS foundation trust in Basingstoke is seeking experienced Critical Care doctors to join their team. The role involves overseeing critical care patients, with opportunities to develop skills in Anaesthesia and participate in educational programs. Candidates should have strong experience in Critical Care and a commitment to patient care. This position offers a 24/7 rota with additional skill development opportunities and a chance to work in a supportive environment.
Basingstoke Critical Care offers two posts for experienced Critical Care doctors who want to develop their skills within Critical Care and beyond. The posts are central to delivering patient care at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and form part of our strategy to expand the national peritoneal malignancy program. The post will be based in Basingstoke Critical Care Units and will involve working a full on-call pattern within Basingstoke Critical Care with the opportunity to develop additional skills in Anaesthetics as agreed with the Critical Care Department.
We have 18 Critical Care beds across two units (CCA and CCB) supporting a full range of medical specialties, including a 24-hour PCI service. We also run the largest cytoreductive surgical program in the UK for patients with primary colorectal and appendix tumours including Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (over 300 patients annually).
